Air Freight Pricing Analyst

We, World Air Cargo (WAC) have an exciting opportunity for an Air Freight Pricing Analyst. In this role you will identify and implement appropriate pricing for WAC Air Freight products and services by gathering data, following industry developments and providing tactical and strategic responses on a station or nationwide basis.

Key Responsibilities:

. Executes adhoc / spot pricing

. Validates adherence to standards and pricing instructions

. Supports in execution of commercial AFR strategy in station/country

. Supports in execution of AFR and commercial strategy in local market

. Drives competitive pricing

. Searches for best pricing solutions in order to maximize profitability of AFR

. Provides pricing for Internal and Oversea Sales on country level (including standard factor-based pricing methodology), supports and follows up with Sales

. Escalates need for decision making on risk taking through higher hierarchy levels

. Interacts with customers in alignment with Sales

Skills / Requirements:

. Generally, 3-4 years of Air freight transportation experience

. Strong understanding of air carrier and coloaders contracts (form and contract)

. Subject matter expert in service, production or support area of responsibility

. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

. Very strong analytical and communication skills

.BS/BA preferred
