Air Export Support Specialist

Your tasks

Tasks & Responsibilities:

. Provide onsite and remote support to operations staff in all process and core system related areas

. Act as triage for all service failures, analysis of root cause, determine and ensure corrective action plans are executed

. Serve as lead for key accounts as assigned by Air Manager; handle all associated operational functions tied to assigned accounts

. Serve as a lead within the Air Export department and be a resource for all coordinators within the department; will be an act as an added level of escalation within the department

. Act as a backup for all coordinators within the department as well as back up during absences of the Air Manager

. Maintain all 'house' account SOP's; ensure SOP's maintained by Sales are followed by Operations and updated by Sales

. Establish and execute operational continuous improvement program

. Perform Operational Audits

Your requirements

. Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills

. Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Transportation and Logistics or equivalent technical degree (preferred)

. Minimum six (6+) years of industry experience

. Solid understanding of Air Freight Operations

. Strong analytical, critical thinking skills, and research capabilities

. Proactive, positive, enthusiastic, and self-driven

. Strong business acumen, attention to details, and strong organizational skills

. Understanding of Supply Chain Logistics / Freight Forwarding industry

. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

. Strong oral, written and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with external customers, including key accounts

. Experienced in delivering well-organized and effective presentation
